A translator must know how to adapt the message to the culture of the target language, clearly, concisely, and in an acceptable style. This is only possible if he or she translates into his or her mother tongue and cultural background.
Follow-up All translation jobs are subjected to follow-up during 10 working days after delivery. This follow-up includes: the correction in the documents of any terminology which had not been validated by the time when the translation was delivered, short translation complements comprising a few words or sentences , related to the initial project, which may help the client to complete his applications or files, and verbal advice with respect to the integration of the documents.
This follow-up is considered to be part of the initial job and will not lead to any supplementary charge unless the complementary work is of a considerable volume and had not been foreseen in the initial price quote.
Client feedback A quality questionnaire is sent at the same time as every delivery, so that the client can evaluate the quality of the work done and list all his remarks relating to terminology or style, which will all be taken into account as part of the company’s quality plan.
